How I organize places I want to share with friends
Last updated: June 3, 2026
A simple way to keep restaurants, meeting points, trip ideas, and useful destinations ready to copy, share, or open in navigation apps.
Many saved places become social eventually. A friend asks for a restaurant, someone needs the meeting point, or I want to send a destination before a trip.
When places are scattered across screenshots and map apps, sharing becomes slower than it should be.
I keep shareable places named clearly
If I know I may share a place later, I try to name it clearly. A good name helps me find it quickly and makes the location easier to understand when I send it.
This is especially helpful for meeting points, parking spots, and places that are not obvious from the official address.
Copying a destination should be easy
My Saved Places lets me keep the place ready, then copy or share destination information when needed. I do not have to reopen old chats or search again.
It is a small workflow, but it makes planning with other people feel less messy.
